Get Down from on High pt. 1

so tell me
here so we may all know
when did you stop being human
and transfigure to a higher being?

as a higher one
do you look down
upon those that are in need?

what are you seeing?

do you have
compassion
for those who haven't quite
figured out their world
yet pain inside?

or do you stay aloft
forever
only inviting to you
those
who somehow float
up to your heights?

please confide

when do you make allowances?
ever?
tell us so
that we may know
how to
achieve perfection
before resurrection

I would like to know 

I have not yet attained it
I don't think I ever shall
I don't think I'm meant to
in this here and now

I envy that you
have found a way beyond
fate

but seems like the love
is hate

in that case
I can wait
