dream of the mayfly
this world wills thee to sleep
dream
re-imagined
world forgiven
severed souls surreal
delusory
finessing illusion
no time to wait
concealing the bait
one leads to the other
breeds another
then supersedes the other
the other to wane
defaming the name
reigning in vain
concentrically known
homogeneously sown
extrinsically honed
to trip down memory lamed
no interval between now and again
no fall to face
whimsically interlaced
intrafaced
we are mayflies
flotsam
stealing moments
thinking we own
thinking they're forever
thinking
thinking is subjective
testing
paper tigers of intent
scrambling to reinvent
desperate to circumvent
realeyes
there is an awakening that will make this all seem like a dream
